Canadian Experience Class

This is one of the main programs for those professional workers who are in Canada on temporary worker permit. After working for at least one year, the candidate can apply for immigration under this federal program.

Basic requirements for program candidates

– Minimum 1 year of Canadian work experience within the last 3 years prior to submitting the application.

– Gain work experience by working in Canada while authorized to work under temporary resident status

– Show performance of the duties listed in the lead statement of NOC

– Proficiency in English or French. Test IELTS (General Module) or CELPIP for English, TEF for French.  Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 7 for TEER 0,1 or a minimum of 5 for TEER 2,3. 

– There are no specific education requirements for this program, but it does add points to the Express Entry system.

Additional points can be obtained for studying in Canada for more than 3 years, advanced level of English and French, and invitation from a Canadian employer (with LMIA support).
