Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP)

NLPNP allows this province to select immigrants based on their ability and willingness to meet the economic needs of the province. This program works in cooperation with the federal government of Canada.

The NLPNP includes a variety of streams:

Express Entry Skilled Worker stream:

Candidates who have already entered the Express Entry system and have a profile may be selected by Newfoundland and Labrador if they meet certain criteria.

Experience in a relevant position is required, as well as an offer of employment from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer.

Skilled Worker Stream:

For those who have received a valid job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer. Some work experience and other criteria are required.

International Graduate Stream:

For Canadian graduates who are already working in Newfoundland and Labrador or have received a job offer.

Entrepreneur Stream:

For individuals wishing to establish or acquire a business in Newfoundland and Labrador. Management or entrepreneurial experience is required, as well as financial criteria.

Canada Immigration

International Entrepreneur Stream:

-For international entrepreneurs who wish to establish, join or purchase a business in the province and actively participate in its management.

-There are different requirements and selection criteria for each of these streams. If a candidate meets the requirements and has been selected by the province, they receive a nomination which greatly increases their chances of successfully obtaining permanent residence in Canada.
